Last Hammer does not collect personal information. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising. Nothing you do on this site is recorded by us.

How the site works

Last Hammer is a set of static files. When you open it, your browser downloads the page and a data file containing the auction archive, and every search runs inside your browser. Your search terms and filter choices are never transmitted to us, because there is no server to transmit them to and no database behind the site.

What we do not do

• We do not set cookies or use browser storage of any kind.
• We do not run analytics, session recording, or fingerprinting.
• We do not enable access logging on our hosting.
• We do not ask for, receive, or store any personal data.
• We do not sell or share data, because we hold none.

Hosting

The site is served by Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront). Delivering any web page necessarily involves your IP address reaching the network that serves it. We have not enabled access logging, so no record of your visit is created or retained by us. AWS operates its network under its own privacy notice.

Links to auction sites

Search results link out to the auction houses that published the original lots. Once you follow such a link you are on a third-party website, which has its own privacy practices and may well use cookies and tracking. We have no control over and no visibility into those sites.

Sharing a search

Search terms and filters are kept in the page address so that a search can be bookmarked or shared. That address is created and read entirely in your browser. Bear in mind that if you send someone a link, your search terms travel with it — by design.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Since we collect nothing from anyone, we collect nothing from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Should we ever begin collecting anything — analytics, for instance — this page will say so plainly before it happens.
